Family, Newborn & Maternity — Louisville & Lexington, KY
Family portraits, newborn sessions, and maternity photos across Louisville and Lexington. No forced poses, no rigid schedule — just enough structure that a two-year-old and a two-week-old can both have a good day.
What usually goes wrong
Right on schedule, the toddler hits the wall at minute twenty. A rigid session plan has nowhere to go from there.
Four adults, two kids, and a group text that never quite lands on an outfit plan everyone agrees on.
A studio session built for a sleepy, cooperative baby falls apart fast when your very real, very awake newborn has other plans.
Session types
60–75 minutes, one location — a park, your home, or a spot in the Highlands or downtown Lexington you actually love. Built to survive a bad-nap day: we start with the shot that matters most, in case attention spans run short.
In-home or studio, taken slow — feeds, diaper changes, and settling time are all built into the schedule, not squeezed around it. Siblings and pets welcome; some of the best frames happen when they're in it too.
Timed for the sweet spot most people pick — around 30–34 weeks — outdoors at golden hour or in a simple studio setup, whichever you'd feel more like yourself in.

Questions parents actually ask
Normal, expected, planned for. We front-load the shot that matters most and treat the rest as bonus — a five-minute break for a snack usually resets everything.
We'll send a short, specific outfit guide before your session — colors and textures that photograph well together, without matching everyone in identical shirts.
Ideally within the first two weeks, while newborns are still sleepy and curl up easily. That said, we photograph babies at any age — there's no session too late.
Yes, both directions, no travel fee within either metro area or along the I-64 corridor between them.
